Employee onboarding is also known as organizational socialization!

A process which is used to help new hires settle well with the work environment. The main goal behind every employee onboarding process is to make them comfortable, work towards commitment and be productive. Expecting new hire to get productive without a proper way is a little unrealistic.

 It’s not easy though to settle in a new environment without taking much time. There are possibilities that new hires might have several questions and doubts before they turned out productive but there should be someone to hear them and this is where onboarding helps.

The onboarding process has been made considering some goals in mind which should be compatible with most of the organisations and they can be benefitted with it.

Making new employee productive in lesser time: For every organisation, the main goal behind recruitment is to get the best performance through talented employees. But this could be possible only when he gets to settle in a new environment.  New hires should get some job-specific orientation and training programs to make it easy. Onboarding program facilitates resource at every level to help to perform their role.
